I hope that everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving break. As much as I love being home, this break only makes me wish for Christmas break sooner than later. :) It will be here before we know it though.

Recently, I created a project on donorschoose.org, and amazingly in less than 24 hours it was completely funded! My students and I are looking forward to getting our packages in the mail and can't wait to use our new equipment.

EcoKids: Coral Reefs


Tell me more about coral reefs!
What are coral reefs made from? How many fish can live in a coral reef before the habitat is too full? What is a staghorn coral? What is a limestone cup? How do the fish not get scratched by the coral? These were just a few questions that this little group of inquisitive kids had in store for our table discussion.
